RFP Construction Manager/General Contractor Services for the Valdez Middle School
The City of Valdez is soliciting sealed proposals with Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) and basic cost information from interested general contractors to serve as the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the construction of the new Valdez Middle School project.
The selected CM/GC will join the City of Valdez, the Project Manager and the design team at the earliest possible date to participate in the remaining design process, value engineering, and to ultimately carry out the actual construction work (assuming successful negotiations). The project is scheduled to begin construction in Spring 2013.

Proposal Submission Deadline: To be considered, a complete sealed proposal package, in the format requested, must be received by ARCADIS U.S., Inc., 880 H Street Suite 101, Anchorage, Alaska 99501, Attention Kent Crandall by 4:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday, January 9, 2013.
The selection process must comply with procurement requirements of the City to ensure fair and open competition. The selection will be made on the basis of qualifications and price. The City reserves the right to cancel this procurement effort and will not reimburse respondents for any costs of preparation or submission of proposals.
